Kingston Police looking to identify suspect in Rosemund area robbery

Kingston Police are asking for public assistance to identify the suspect in a robbery which took place in the area of Rosemund Place and Rosemund Crescent on the weekend.

According to a release from Kingston Police, the robbery occurred at approximately 1 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024, when the victim was attacked while exiting their vehicle and numerous personal items were taken. The unknown suspect(s) then reportedly fled from the scene on foot. 

“The victim sustained injuries requiring medical treatment and was subsequently transported to the hospital by Frontenac Paramedics and later released. Police are requesting assistance in helping to identify the suspect(s) involved in this late-night incident,” Kingston Police stated. 

In response to Kingstonist inquiries, Kingston Police said they do not have a description of the suspect(s). However, police did say that they do not believe the victim and the suspect(s) are known to one another.
