Kingston police looking to identify person behaving suspiciously in mall



Kingston Police have released the above images and are requesting public assistance to identify the individual pictured, who was “exhibiting suspicious behaviour” at the Cataraqui Centre.
According to police, at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jul. 13, 2023, the complainant noticed the individual in question was taking photos of them inside a store located within the Cataraqui Centre, Kingston’s largest mall located in the city’s west end on Gardiners Road.
“The individual was using a cell phone to capture the images of the complainant. The individual taking the photos was not known to the complainant,” Kingston Police said in a press release on Wednesday, Jul. 19, 2023.
Police described the individual as Caucasian, standing approximately 5’7” (170 cm) tall with little-to-no facial hair. The individual also has a sleeve-style tattoo on their left arm and is balding. At the time of the incident in question, the individual was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.
