Update: Case closed – Kingston Police looking to identify male suspected of mischief at local school

Update (Tuesday, Apr. 11, 2023):
Kingston Police are thanking the public for their assistance after a suspect involved in “an act of mischief” at a local school was successfully identified.

The male suspect, whom police released photos of on Wednesday, Mar. 29, 2023, has been spoken to by police, according to Const. Anthony Colangeli, Acting Media Relations Officer for Kingston Police. Pressed to expand on what the incident involved, Colangeli said he could not disclose further information, but did say that no charges have been laid in relation to this incident.

“The suspect was identified, and the matter was resolved with all parties involved,” he said in response to Kingstonist inquiries.

“It should be noted the incident occurred on a weekend when the school was closed.”

Police did not disclose which school on Norman Rogers Drive the incident of mischief occurred at.

Kingstonist has removed all photos of the suspect in this incident to avoid confusion in the future.

Kingston Police have released the above photos and are requesting public assistance to identify the male pictured who is suspected of being involved in “an act of mischief” at an area school.

According to police, the incident occurred on Saturday, Mar. 18, 2023, at approximately 8:30 a.m. on the property of a school located “in the area of Norman Rogers Drive.” Police did not specify which school the incident occurred at, and there is more than one school on Norman Rogers Drive.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is asked to contact Kingston Police at 613-549-4660.
