Kingston Police investigating violent break-and-enter

A male and a female victim have been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and a male is in police custody following a violent break-and-enter on Raglan St on Monday night. Kingston Police are continuing to investigate.
Police and EMS were called to the scene at around 9:15 p.m. on Sept. 16 after a male allegedly broke into a home in the 200 block of Raglan Rd and held a female at knife-point.

Witnesses say the male suspect attempted to flee the scene, stripping off his clothes as he did so, but was captured by police in short order.
The female victim was treated by paramedics on scene for minor lacerations to her throat and taken to hospital, and one male victim was also taken to hospital for head injuries. The suspect was transported to hospital under police custody.
Raglan Rd was closed by Kingston Police as they conducted a forensic investigation of the incident. The area was reopened at around 10:40 p.m.
My word Kingston is having a lot of criminal activity and violent attacks.
This city is a small city and these things use to be rare but now things are getting bad.
About four nights ago around eleven o’clock I heard about three or four gunshots in the Division Street aria.
People must be cautious now a days, two people where just stabbed on Bagget and Queen Street just a couple days ago.
Be careful to all those who frequent the Kingston aria as there have been reports of violent and dangerous crimes.
Take care everyone and be sure to keep an eye out if you are out and about especially after dark.
May God watch over you all and may you all be free from harm.
Peace to all and all in peace.
