Kingston Police investigating stabbing

Kingston Police are continuing to investigate a stabbing in Kingston’s west end on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022.
First responders were initially called to the south parking area of the Cataraqui Mall at around 6:30 p.m. for a report of a disturbance. Shortly thereafter, responders received a report that the altercation had resulted in a stabbing.

According to Kingston Police, the victim, a teenager, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the incident.
Frontenac Paramedics treated the victim and transported him to Kingston General Hospital for further treatment. Kingston Police say that the suspect, also a teen who cannot be named due to their age, is now in custody.
