Kingston Police investigating rash of Henderson Place break ins

After an increase in reported break and enters in the Henderson Place area, Kingston Police are asking residents to remain vigilant, and to check video surveillance for footage of suspicious persons in the neighbourhood.
According to a media release, dated Friday, Jun. 16, 2023, in reported incidents, access to residences has been gained through unlocked doors during the overnight hours. “Residents may not even be aware that their residence has been entered as it is primarily cash from wallets and purses that has been reported stolen,” police said.
Kingston Police are requesting anyone who resides in the Henderson Place area and has noticed items missing from their residence within the past two weeks to contact police.
Furthermore, police ask that anyone who resides in the area and has captured suspicious persons on their door cameras, or private video surveillance cameras to contact police.
