Kingston Police investigating male shot in hand with pellet gun on Division Street

Late in the evening of Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022, Kingston Police responded to a call at the corner of Division and Pine Streets. At approximately 8:20 p.m. police arrived on scene and closed the section of Division Street from Quebec Street to Pine Street for their investigation.

In response to Kingstonist inquiries, Kingston Police reported that a male was shot in the hand with a pellet gun in the area and transported to hospital.

According to police, the investigation is ongoing. The roadway was reopened sometime overnight.
