Kingston Police investigating hit and run involving pedestrian

Kingston Police began the week with an early morning hit and run involving a pedestrian in Kingston’s Strathcona Park area.

At approximately 1:20 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 17, 2020, a collision involving a pedestrian occurred on Rosemund Crescent, just northwest of the intersection of Sir John A Macdonald Boulevard and John Counter Boulevard.

The vehicle involved did not remain at the scene, but was recovered by police a short while later in the area. The pedestrian was transported to Kingston General Hospital by Frontenac Paramedics with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to Const. Ash Gutheinz, Media Relations Officer with Kingston Police.
