Kingston Police investigating collision with pedestrian on Old Mill Road

A Kingston woman was taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Old Mill Road on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021.

Kingston Police responded to the incident at approximately 10:40 a.m. The 73-year-old pedestrian was transported to Kingston General Hospital with serious injuries, according to Constable Ash Gutheinz, Media Relations Officer for Kingston Police. The collision occurred on Old Mill Road near Mill Pond Place, much of which is currently under construction.

Kingston Police Collision Reconstructionists attended the scene, where the roadways of Old Mill Road and Mill Pond Place were closed for several hours while their role in the investigation was carried out. No charges have been laid at this time.
