Kingston Police investigating Boxing Day break in on Italia Lane
Kingston Police have released the above images and are asking for public assistance to identify a male suspect and vehicle captured on surveillance video at a property on Italia Lane.
Police responded to an address on Italia Lane that was broken into shortly after 2 p.m. on December 26, 2021, according to a release from Kingston Police. Officers attended the residence and discovered entry was gained via a rear door that had sustained extensive damage. Once inside, the suspect(s) ransacked the home and stole several personal items from the residence, police said.
Surveillance video captured a lone person on the property, described as a white male, age 45-55 years old wearing a plaid jacket, blue jeans, and a black toque.
The suspect was also captured standing in the driveway of the residence beside a grey GMC SUV, possibly a GMC Terrain or Acadia. According to the release, no licence plate could be obtained from the photographs.
