Kingston Police: Family concerned for well-being of missing man

Kingston Police have released the above photo and are asking for public assistance in locating a missing man.

Wayne Bierkos, 57, of Kingston was last seen on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 leaving the area of Wilson Street on foot. One of Bierkos’ family members reached out to police, as there is concern for the man’s safety and well-being, Kingston Police said in a press release on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

“Other than the family member making the report, Bierkos has no other known connections in Kingston. He has family in Alberta and may have shown an interest in taking a bus or train to that province, but detectives have yet to verify this,” police said.

Bierkos is described as a Caucasian male standing 6’0” and weighing 190 lbs, with green eyes, blond hair, facial hair, and a tattoo on his right arm of barbed wire with the name ‘Diane.’ He was last seen wearing grey coveralls, a light blue t-shirt, navy blue sweater, and baseball cap.
