Kingston Police confirm deceased male located at north end construction site

Kingston Police have confirmed that the body of a deceased male was located at a construction site on Conacher Drive in the city’s north end.

According to police, the body was located at the construction site near the intersection of Conacher Drive and Aquino Way. Workers arriving to the site for work found the body and contacted Kingston Police at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020. Officers responded to the call, and the Criminal Investigation division of Kingston Police confirmed that a male was found deceased at the location.

The age, date of birth and identification of the deceased are not being released at this time as the deceased’s next of kin are notified. Police did not say whether or not foul play is suspected in the case, which has now been turned over to the Office of the Coroner.
