Kingston Police charge four after downtown drug raid

Four local individuals are facing charges after the Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit executed a drug search warrant at a house on Division Street last month.

On Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, the Kingston Police Emergency Response Unit assisted members of the Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit in the execution of the warrant by performing a dynamic entry to the residence and securing multiple people found within the residence, according to a release from Kingston Police.

Police said officers located a quantity of fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, evidence of drug trafficking and Canadian currency as a result of the search of the residence.

The following charges were laid:

Steven Lachapelle, age 45, from Kingston.

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine
  • Possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.

Jennifer Thompson, age 39, from Kingston

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine.
  • Possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.
  • Breach of undertaking.

Santana Wallace-Truesdell, age 26, from Kingston

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine.
  • Possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
  • Two counts of breach of probation.

Matthew Marlikoswski, age 53, from Kingston

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine.
  • Possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
  • Breach of undertaking.
