Kingston Police have released the above photo from a security camera and are asking for public assistance to identify the suspect involved in a downtown break and enter.
According to police, the break and enter occurred at a William Street residence at approximately 7:25 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020. The suspect entered the home and proceeded to steal electronics, jewelry, sporting equipment, speakers, and bottles of protein powder. He then left the home, leaving the front door of the residence wide open.
Police said that the resident of the house was at home and asleep at the time of the incident, and did not hear the suspect as he made his way through the residence collecting items to steal. The suspect was, however, captured on security video.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian make with a fair complexion. He was wearing a light-coloured hooded jacket and black face mask at the time of the break in. The suspect was also wearing a distinctive newer-style black and white Nike knit toque with a pompom.
