Kingston Police asking for public assistance to locate suspect in violent attack
In the early morning hours of December 28, 2018, Hudson was located and arrested by Kingston Police without further incident.
Kingston Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect in a violent attack in Kingston’s north end.
On December 27, 2018 at approximately 7:00 a.m., Kingston Police say that 57-year-old Arnold John Hudson entered a residence in the area of Wilson Street and Weller Avenue. Hudson allegedly attacked the male and female in the home with a knife. The female victim suffered minor injuries and the male victim sustained injuries requiring treatment at the hospital. The attack was not random as Hudson was known by the victims.
Hudson has no fixed address, and his current whereabouts are unknown. Police are obtaining an arrest warrant for Aggravated Assault, two counts of Assault With A Weapon, and Break, Enter and Commit.
Hudson fled the residence on foot and was last seen in that area. He was wearing a blue sweater and light coloured track pants. Hudson is a Caucasian 57-year-old male, he is approximately 5’8”, 200 lbs, with a moustache, and greying hair. He may have sustained an injury to his head during the incident. No photo has been released at this time.
Due to the violent nature of the incident, police are alerting the public. Anyone who sees Hudson should not approach and call 911, anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to please contact Kingston police at 613-549-4660 or 911 in the event of an emergency.
