Kingston Police ask for witnesses of collision to come forward

Kingston Police are asking for any witnesses to a serious collision in the University District last night to come forward and provide a statement.
On Sunday, September 1, 2019 at approximately 12:09 a.m. a collision occurred between a motorcycle and pedestrian at Brock Street and University Avenue.
Kingston Police say a motor vehicle not involved in the collision was traveling westbound on Brock Street. When the motor vehicle slowed to turn right onto University Avenue, a southbound pedestrian crossed in front of the turning vehicle and was subsequently struck by a motorcycle traveling westbound on Brock Street.
The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries, while the pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are looking to speak with the driver of the motor vehicle that was at the intersection during the time of the collision.
