Update: Located – Kingston Police ask for public assistance to locate missing local woman

Police have confirmed that Deane Cornell, a 69-year-old Kingston woman, has been located safely. Kingston Police had previous requested public assistance on Sunday, Mar. 13, 2022, to locate the woman, whose family had been concerned for her well-being.

“Kingston Police would like to thank the public for their assistance,” Const. Ash Gutheinz, Media Relations Officer for Kingston Police relayed, noting that Deane was located safely at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Monday, Mar. 14, 2022.
“Thank you to all those who assisted in locating Deane and shared information in regards to her possible whereabouts.”

Kingston Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing local woman, Deane Cornell, 69 years of age.
According to Kingston Police, Cornell was last seen on March 13, 2022 at approximately 2:30 p.m. in the area of Westmoreland Road in midtown Kingston however, her current whereabouts are unknown. Her family is concerned for her well-being.
Cornell is described by police as a Caucasian female, 5’9” tall, 170lbs, with blue eyes, a fair complexion and white, short to shoulder length hair. She was last seen wearing a blue cardigan and grey jogging pants.
