Kingston Police ask for assistance to identify male involved in serious incident

Kingston Police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify a male involved in a serious incident.
“On April 28, 2022 at approximately 4:40 a.m. the Kingston Police attended the Joseph Street area in response to a serious incident where a senior citizen was assaulted,” Kingston Police said in a press release.
“Further investigation revealed that a home invasion occurred this morning at a residence on Joseph Street, in which a 68-year-old female sustained non-life threatening injuries,” Kingston Police continued. “The female was taken to a local hospital and has since been released.”
The police investigation has determined that the victim and the suspect are not known to one another.

According to police, the suspect is described as a male with short dark hair and dark facial hair. “The suspect was wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and light colored shoes. The suspect was also wearing a long scarf around his neck,” police continued.

“If this male suspect is believed to be seen please do not approach him and call Kingston Police at 9-1-1,” police cautioned.
