Kingston Police arrest male following north end stabbing incident

A Windsor man was arrested after stabbing a male victim and his girlfriend after a transaction in a north end parking lot.

At approximately 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, the male victim and his girlfriend attended the rear parking lot of an apartment building located in Kingston’s north end for a prearranged transactional exchange, according to a report from Kingston Police, dated Friday, Feb. 12, 2021.

Police say the accused exited the apartment building and entered the victim’s vehicle, sitting in the rear driver’s side seat. Upon completing the transaction the accused suddenly pulled a knife and demanded his money back before stabbing the victim in the face, according to the release.

The victim was then punched repeatedly by the accused and when his girlfriend attempted to intervene she too was punched in the face, police said in the report. The accused then fled from the vehicle on foot. Police say the victim sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the attack.

Police responded and, after a comprehensive investigation, located the accused inside one of the units of the apartment building at the address where the incident occurred, according to the report. At approximately 8:20 p.m. the accused was arrested and further investigation revealed that he was also contravening multiple conditions of a court imposed release order.

The accused was subsequently transported to police headquarters where he was held to attend a bail hearing the following day.

Noah White an 18-year-old Windsor man was charged with:

  • aggravated assault,
  • assault,
  • robbery with an offensive weapon – two counts,
  • failing to comply with a release order – two counts.
