Kingston Police arrest individual rummaging in vehicle on Cedarwood Drive

In the early morning hours of Monday, Jun. 19, 223, Kingston Police arrested an individual who they located rummaging through a vehicle in a driveway on Cedarwood Drive.
According to a media release, members of the Kingston Police Patrol Division located the individual after responding to a report of someone wandering onto residential properties in the area of Redwood Crescent around 4:10 a.m.
The 31-year-old individual from Kingston was arrested and transported to Kingston Police headquarters to await a bail hearing in relation to charges stemming from this incident, police said.
Kingston Police are asking residents of the area where the incident occurred to contact them if they find items missing from their vehicles. Furthermore, police are asking area residents to review any security or doorbell camera footage they have in the event this individual was captured on it.
Police described the individual as Caucasian, wearing a blue sweater and a paintball mask to cover their face. At the time of the incident, they were carrying multiple duffle bags.
