Kingston man charged in Quinte West drug investigation

A local man has been arrested and charged along with two women from Quinte West after an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) drug investigation led to the search of a house in Trenton.
According to the OPP, the Quinte West OPP Community Street Crime Unit, assisted by the OPP Emergency Response Team, conducted a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search of a residence on Kerr Crescent in Trenton on Thursday, Mar. 11, 2021 at approximately 6 a.m. The search resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Three individuals were subsequently arrested.
Jessie Draker, 39, and Jillian Fisher, 26, both of Quinte West, as well as Darrell Weiss, 35, of Kingston, were each charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl)
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine)
All three were released on undertakings and are schedules to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville in April 2021.
