Kingston man charged in OPP sexual assault investigation

A 21-year-old local man is facing charges as the result of an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigation into an indecent act in Amherstview.

On Wednesday, Jun. 12, 2019, officers with the Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the OPP and the L&A OPP Crime Unit responded to a report of an indecent act at a residence in Amherstview, Ontario. 

As a result of the investigation, police have charged Todd Russell Pommerville, 21, of Kingston with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Two counts of sexual assault
  • Two counts of sexual interference
  • Indecent exposure

The accused remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee. 

A publication ban has been imposed, and no further details will be released as a result.
