Kingston man arrested for impaired driving following collision

A local man was arrested and charged after police arrived at the scene of a collision to find him walking around in the road.
At 6:31 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, officers from the Frontenac detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Latimer Road near Inverary. There, the male driver of the vehicle, was walking in the road and located a short distance away from the collision, according to a press release from the OPP.
As a result of the ensuing investigation, Alain Jacob Doseger, 28, of Kingston was charged with impaired driving and having more than 80 mg of alcohol in his blood. Doseger was released on a promise to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018.
