Kingston man arrested after Napanee robbery

A robbery in Napanee over the weekend has resulted in the arrest of two parties, one from Kingston and the other from Napanee.

According to the Lennox and Addington Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), just before 1 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, officers from that detachment responded to a report of a robbery at an address on Water Street in Greater Napanee. Upon arrival, officers learned that the incident had occurred a few hours earlier on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019.

The ensuing investigation found that, while visiting a residence on Water Street, two suspects had assaulted and robbed victim of personal property and cash. One of the suspects was known to the victim, and both attackers were known to one another, the OPP said in a press release on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019. The suspects fled the scene following the attack and robbery, and police were contacted later on.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was not treated at hospital. Later on Sunday, Nov. 3, police located and arrested both suspects. As a result, the Lennox and Addington County OPP have laid the following charges.

Gordon Thomas Hole, 34, of Kingston was charged with:

  • Robbery with a weapon
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Uttering threats to cause death
  • Possession of a Schedule 1 substance – Methamphetamine

Crystal Lynn Larabie, 40, of Greater Napanee was charged with:

  • Robbery with a weapon
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Uttering threats to cause death
