Kingston man and woman arrested for trafficking cocaine, fentanyl

A local man and woman have been arrested and charged as part of a Kingston Police investigation into complaints of drug trafficking in the area of MacDonnell Street downtown.
According to police, that investigating led the Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) to secure a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant for a residence on MacDonnell Street just south of Johnson Street. The execution of that warrant found confirmation that the male and female in question were trafficking in fentanyl and cocaine, police said, and on Tuesday, Apr. 13, 2021, officers observed both parties outside of their residence just after 4 p.m. Both individuals were arrested and taken into custody without incident.
Upon entering the residence, ERU officers secured two other individuals. A search of the two accused parties and the residence found a quantity of blue and purple fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, and Canadian currency.
As a result, Brooklyn Carew, 27, of Kingston, was charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking involving fentanyl and cocaine, and Scott Gregory, 33, of Kingston, was charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking involving fentanyl and cocaine.
