According to a release from the Chamber, the event will feature up to 46 top regional employers eager to connect with local job seekers, and is free to attend, thanks to the generous support of Title Sponsor, ReStart Employment Services, Partner Sponsors KEYS Job Services and SnapCab, and Supporting Sponsors, Latham Pool Products, and Plan A Kingston & Quinte.
Participating employers currently include 1000 Islands Cruises and Kingston Trolley Tours, Bayshore Home Health, Canada Royal Milk ULC, Capital Movers & Storage, City of Kingston – Human Resources, Community Living Kingston and District, Discover Ability Network, Diamond Hotels Management Inc., Extendicare and ParaMed, Handy Fairies, Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront, INVISTA Canada, Ongwanda, Queen’s University – Human Resources, St. Lawrence Parks Commission, Utilities Kingston, Women Mean Business Professional Network Kingston & Eastern Ontario, and Career Pathways Magazine.

The Chamber said that the 2023 Summit is a sequel to last year’s highly successful event, held at St. Lawrence College, which created hundreds of connections between job seekers and dozens of local employers.
“As a Chamber, we’re committed to stimulating the growth and prosperity of the local business community,” said Karen Cross, Chamber CEO. “Events like these allow us to directly serve both employers and local job seekers in a tangible way that makes our city stronger. We encourage anyone who wants to learn about the great opportunities available through local employers to join us on March 23.”
Job seekers wishing to attend the job fair between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. can register via Eventbrite (although not mandatory) and are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes, the Chamber noted. Employers interested in a booth, which are selling quickly, should contact the Chamber at [email protected].
