Kingston Gymnastics Club gymnasts qualify for Ontario Championships

Things are getting really exciting for many with Kingston Gymnastics Club, as a number of their gymnasts have qualified for the provincial championships.

“The Kingston Gymnastics Club wishes to congratulate all our athletes for a successful year thus far. We are sending out a special congratulations and good luck wish to the athletes who have qualified for the Ontario Championships!” said Jen Kingston, Club Director.

The Kingston Gymnastics Club’s Level 3 athletes will compete at Kitchener-Waterloo Gymnastics Club from Saturday, Jun. 1 to Sunday, Jun. 2, 2019. These athletes include Jillian Bates, Analyse Chabot, Elizabeth Creighton, Kaitlyn Egerton, Ava LeBlanc, Michaela Libbey-Griffin, Eva Reid, and Zoe Rorabeck.

The Club’s Level 4 and 5 athletes will compete the following weekend from Friday, Jun. 7 to Sunday, Jun. 9 at Alliston Nikolettes Gymnastics Club. These athletes include Madeleine Anderson, Gala Baranchuk, Rebekah D’Souza, Taylor Reed, and Keira Wilson.

“These girls give up a lot of their free time to train all year in order to try to make it to this one competition,” explained Competitive Program Coach, Judy Snable.

“They have worked hard, and they deserve to go. Good luck to our athletes and we hope you have fun!” added Competitive Program Coordinator, Sara Gray.
