Kingston Frontenacs move to round two of OHL playoffs

Just over a week ago the OHL playoffs got underway, and the Kingston Frontenacs took on the Oshawa Generals in Round 1. The Frontenacs bested the Generals to move to Round 2, winning four out of six playoff games.
Game 6 of the 2022 OHL Eastern Conference Quarterfinal playoff series took place in Oshawa on Sunday, May 1, and Kingston pulled out a 5-4 win in overtime.
Scores for Round 1 were provided by the Frontenacs, who won the series 4-2 :
Game 1, Fri, April 22 in Kingston – KGN won 6-1 (1-0 KGN)
Game 2, Sun, April 24 in Kingston – KGN won 6-4 (2-0 KGN)
Game 3, Tues, April 26 in Oshawa – OSH won 4-3 (2-1 KGN)
Game 4, Thurs, April 28 in Oshawa – KGN won 6-2 (3-1 KGN)
Game 5, Sat, April 30 in Kingston – OSH won 3-1 (3-2 KGN)
Game 6, Sun., May 1 in Oshawa – KGN won 5-4 OT (4-2 KGN)
According to a release from the Frontenacs, the team will face the North Bay Battalion in the second round of the 2022 OHL Playoffs. The schedule has not been announced yet, the team said, but the Black and Gold will begin the series on the road before returning home to the Leon’s Centre for Games 3 and 4 (and 6 if necessary).
Tickets will be available to purchase online at Ticketmaster.ca or at the Leon’s Centre box office as soon as the schedule is announced.
