This year, two roads in Prince Edward County rank higher than Kingston in the top 10 worst roads in Ontario, with Barker Street in the third spot and County Road 49 holding at spot number four, the same as last year. Kingston’s Queen Street is also holding at the number 10 spot, where it placed last year, as well.
CAA’s annual Worst Roads campaign has influenced change, according to their website, resulting in repaving and repair work done to many of the roads that have appeared on Ontario’s Worst Roads list.
The automobile association also creates a regional breakdown of roads in regions across Ontario. Queen Street in Kingston took the number three spot and the above two roads in PEC took spots one and two, respectively on the Top 5 list for Eastern Ontario. Rounding out that list is Bridge Street West in Belleville in fourth spot, and Landsdowne Street in Peterborough rounding out the list.
