Kingston City Hall now closed to the public amid COVID-19 pandemic

As part of the City of Kingston’s precautions regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic, City Hall is closed to the public effective Wednesday, Apr. 1, 2020.

The closure will remain in effect until further notice. The portable public washroom located outside City Hall will remain open for public use.

During this closure, the City’s Payment Centre staff will continue to be available by phone and email. The City advises that payments can be made through one of the following methods:

  • Through online banking
  • Through your financial institution
  • Using the City’s payment drop boxes at 1211 John Counter Boulevard or at City Hall’s Market Street entrance (please do not put cash payments in the drop boxes)
  • For taxation or other payments by mail, cheques can be sent to “ City of Kingston – Taxation PO Box 640, Kingston, ON, K7L 4X1
  • For utility payments by mal, send a cheque to: Utilities Kingston – PO Box 790, Kingston, ON, K7L 4X1
