KFPL offers spooktacular Halloween events this month

This October, the Kingston Frontenac Public Library (KFPL) is holding a series of spine-tingling events and activities ready to get you in the spooky spirit of the season.
“When it comes to celebrating Halloween, the library is where you’ll find the most ‘boo-tiful’ stories and ‘skele-fun’ activities,” said Brianne Peters, Children’s Services Librarian with KFPL.
In a media release, the library said everyone should prepare to be delighted by the following eerie offerings:
Haunted Canada Author Night with Joel A. Sutherland
Renowned author Joel A. Sutherland takes you on a journey through Haunted Canada on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Calvin Park Branch.
P.A. Day Programs
Calling all young goblins! Don’t miss our Pumpkin Wreath Take Home Kit and Hallowe’en Dance Party during the October 27 P.A. Day
Not-So-Scary Hallowe’en Family Storytime
Bring your little pumpkins to this special seasonal edition of Family Storytime on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Calvin Park Branch. Enjoy a mix of Halloween stories, songs and rhymes. Costumes are encouraged, so bring out your scariest or silliest attire.
The library asks everyone to ‘creep’ in touch — stay connected with them on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and their website at https://www.kfpl.ca/ for information on programs throughout the year. “We promise not to ghost you!”
