June Comment Contest

Kingston Trolley Tour
This month we thought we’d offer something a little different. You know that big, red trolley that you see all around town all summer long? How many of you have ever thought to take a ride? Me neither. I’d love to though. There are tons of sites in Kingston that I know nothing about and I think a trolley ride might be just the thing to expand our knowledge of this great city. This month’s prize for the Kingstonist comment contest is two fee tickets on The Confederation Tour Trolley.

The 50-minute tour includes the Royal Military College, Fort Henry, Fort Frontenac, Kingston’s penitentiaries, Olympic Harbour (site of the 1976 Olympic Sailing events), Bellevue House (residence of Sir John A. Macdonald) and Queen’s University. Even if you’ve been before, the tour has been updated this year so you’re bound to learn something new. Or you can re-gift your tickets to friends or family who are planning a visit this summer. Convenience is key, so you’ll be glad to know that the trolley leaves City Hall every hour, on the hour, 7 days a week, rain or shine. Keep the comments coming and it could be you on the next tour!
