Investigation leads to 10 child pornography related charges for Kingston man

A 17-year-old man from Kingston is facing a list of charges after an investigation into his involvement with two female youths in the United Kingdom.
On Monday, Dec. 24, 2018, Kingston Police became aware of a child luring investigation that had originated in the UK. Members of the Kingston Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit received information that two female youth victims had been having conversations with the accused man over social media.
Police learned that, through coercion, the accused man had obtained intimate photographs of both victims. Both victims then contacted police in the UK to make a report, and further investigation found that the accused man resided in Kingston.
As the result of the ongoing investigation, Kingston Police executed a search warrant at the accused man’s east end address on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019. Police seized a number of digital devices during the search, and police located and arrested the accused man.
The 17-year-old local man is charged with two counts of luring a child, two counts of making child pornography, two counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of making sexually explicit material available to a child, accessing child pornography, and making child pornography available.
I’m not forgiving his actions at all; hes obviously mentally messed up to be attracted to kids and deserves to be charged but dont call a 17 year old a man/woman. They’re not even out of high school.
