OPP seek assistance to identify graffiti artist in Sydenham

Police are looking for public assistance regarding damage to a property in Rutledge Road in Sydenham, Ontario.
The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) released a statement on Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, to request the public’s assistance in identifying the person responsible for graffiti and mischief to property used by a local church group.
On Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020, police attended the property, located on Rutledge Road in Sydenham, Ontario, after the owner reported red spray paint on a building, water fountain, and trees.
Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.
Referring to this vandalism as having been done by a graffiti artist is insulting to the actual graffiti artists. There is no artistry in these markings.
