Hundreds gather with Pride in downtown Kingston

Hundreds and hundreds of people flocked to downtown Kingston to celebrate Pride 2019 on Saturday, Jun. 15, 2019.

From the raising of the Pride flag during the opening ceremonies just after 9:30 a.m. and the Community Fair in Confederation Park all day, to the parade the took the Pride celebrations on a tour of downtown Kingston, smiles and rainbows were everywhere to be seen. The message of inclusion and acceptance rang off the limestone buildings from chants and singing, and could be seen from meaningful signs declaring equal rights for all.
