Confirmed COVID-19 case at Kingston Italo-Canadian Club wedding reception

Dr. Piotr Oglaza, Medical Officer of Health at KFL&A Public Health has confirmed a COVID-19 positive case at the Italo-Canadian Club, located at 1174 Italia Lane, in Kingston.
“KFL&A Public Health recommends that individuals who attended the wedding reception at Italo-Canadian Club on Saturday, November 20 from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. get tested immediately, and isolate until they receive a negative test result,” KFL&A Public Health said in a press release. “Those in attendance who were unvaccinated must isolate until Wednesday, December 1, 2021.”
KFL&A Public Health said that, as part of its COVID-19 case management and contact tracing process, it follows up with close contacts of individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19.
In instances where the contact tracing team are unable to identify close contacts of an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, a public release may be issued to reach those contacts.
