Frontenac OPP request public assistance in motorcycle theft investigation
The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has released the above photos and is asking for public assistance in locating two stolen motorcycles and a stolen trailer.
The OPP received a report on Tuesday, Jul. 20, 2021, of the theft, which occurred between 7 p.m. on Monday, Jul. 19 and 7:31 a.m. on Tuesday, Jul. 20, 2021. According to the OPP, the two motorcycles and the trailer were stolen from the government dock located at 1180 Cannon Road in Sharbot Lake, Central Frontenac Township.
The items are described as:
- A grey, 2021 Kawasaki motorcycle dirt bike, model KLX300, with Ontario licence plate 0S7L4
- A blue, Yamaha motorcycle dirt bike, model TTR128, which is covered in stickers
- A homemade, 4×7 foot black utility trailer.
Police would like hear from any witnesses that may have any information in relation to this occurrence. Anyone with information is asked to call Sharbot Lake OPP or Frontenac OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be shared anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS), where callers may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000, or tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
