UPDATE: Frontenac OPP issue warrants for the arrest of two suspects

Update (Friday, Nov. 20, 2020): The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Frontenac OPP Crime Unit have now arrested two individuals, wanted in connection with a serious assault.
OPP say on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, two individuals, wanted in connection with the case, turned themselves in to officers, without incident.
Charges are updated as follows:
Jessie Teal, age 33 and Frank Teal, age 28 are charged with:
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Assault with a weapon
- Aggravated assault
- Forcible entry
- Possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order
- Carless storage of a firearm – three counts
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of property obtained by crime
Jessie Teal is also charged with failure to comply with a release order.
The accused were remanded into custody until a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on November 20, 2020.

The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Frontenac OPP Crime Unit are searching for two individuals after a serious assault and other incidents.
On Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of an assault at a home on Road-38 in South Frontenac Township. According to a report from OPP, dated Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, officers had received a report of a theft from the same location earlier that day.
According to the OPP, a 51-year old male had been assaulted by two males who left the scene. The victim was transported to hospital by Frontenac County Paramedics, where he was treated for his injuries and later released.
As part of the investigation, OPP say officers executed a search warrant on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, at a residence in South Frontenac Township, assisted by members of the OPP Community Street Crime Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), OPP Canine Unit and OPP Repeat Offender and Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad. The report stated officers seized numerous firearms, and no one was at the home at the time.
Arrest warrants have been issued for Jessie Teal, age 33 and Frank Teal, age 28 on the following charges:
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Assault with a weapon
- Aggravated assault
- Forcible entry
Jessie Teal is also charged with failure to comply with a release order.
The investigation is ongoing and OPP are asking the public to report any sighting or information related to the whereabouts of these individuals. OPP say there is no public safety risk, but urges the public not to approach these individuals.
