Frontenac County asks business owners to participate in economic survey

The Frontenac County Economic Development Department is asking business owners in Frontenac to complete their annual business survey, which will be open until Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022.
Business operators are asked to provide information related to overall operations in 2021, including the impacts of COVID-19, according to a release from the County. The last two years have been unlike any others, the County stated, noting the importance of this survey for the business community.
“The thoughtful insights business operators provide through this survey continue to help us understand and identify opportunities, challenges, and priorities across the region as they shift from year to year,” said Richard Allen, Manager of Economic Development, Frontenac County. “This information helps County Council and our municipal partners to determine where to invest resources to best serve the Frontenac business community as we move forward.”
The survey is now open, and will be available until Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022. The County says it will take up to 20 minutes to complete and everyone who does so can enter into a draw to win a prize from Limestone Organic Creamery.
According to the release, survey results will be shared in aggregate with County Council, Township Councils and the Community Development Advisory Committee. The results will also be shared on the County website to demonstrate trends using the data collected. The County said that any personal or identifying information will be kept confidential.
The Economic Development Department issues the survey annually to understand year-over-year trends. According to the release, this will also allow County staff to see the impacts of program and service changes for the region.
