Kingston Fall Fair, ferris wheel at night

It’s Friday everyone!  I’m happy to say that I’m writing today’s post from the patio in my yard without a jacket or sweater.  Yep, despite the Fall Equinox this past Wednesday, it looks like Mother Nature still has some lovely summer weather for us to enjoy.  And this is great news for symphony lovers because tonight is the second annual Kingston Symphony Whisky Cruise and it’s not too late to get your ticket!  I’ll be there ready to taste some great teen-aged scotches and a delicious meal, all to benefit our wonderful orchestra.

Of course, Writersfest continues throughout the weekend offering up some great opportunities to hear some of Canada’s top writers speak and if you have a look at our events calendar you’ll note a whole ton of great music, specifically jazz, coming to town this weekend.

If you haven’t done so already, be sure to vote in our latest poll and get in on the intense and extensive debate surrounding the K Rock Centre.  That’s all I’ve got for today folks, time to get out there an enjoy the sun.  TGIF!  See ya next week!

Special thanks to Pedski for today’s nighttime photo from Kingston’s Fall Fair.
