Time is running short today and we’re about to make a mad dash out of the city for some camping in the Westport area. I haven’t been “up north” in some time, and I’m quite looking forward to a bit of a break from technology and household chores, even if it’s only for 24 hours. With our departure time looming, here’s the best damn rundown of events I could whip together in 2 minutes.  In case you missed yesterday’s post, please check out the Downtown Action Revitalization Network’s Swarm Vandervoorts event tomorrow. Even if you just pop in for some gelatto, I’m sure they’d appreciate it! Later on in the evening, some guy named Jerry Seinfeld is stopping by the K-Rock Centre. The show is bound to be well attended by ticket holders and scalpers, and I fully expect downtown patios to be crammed afterwards. Last but not least, on Sunday you should definitely check out James Wannamaker and the Downtown Trio.  Ba-de, ba-de, that’s all folks.  And we’re off!
