Fall leaves, Kingston, OntarioFrom one marathon to another.  I haven’t had an entire weekend off since early September, so I am truly looking forward to the next few days as I will be far away from the shackles of my office. That said, this long weekend comes at a price, as we’ll likely be running the roads between families, friends, and Thanksgiving dinners.  Rest and relaxation will be in short supply, but then again, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

As a young lad, I remember going on long rides for no other reason but to look at the trees changing colour.  And so, it really isn’t a surprise that I am looking forward to our travels this weekend, which will take us west down the 401, where we’ll spy the rest of Ontario reacting to Fall.  We’ll return to the Limestone City just in time to catch Ianspotting and Slaves of Spanky on the 11th.  Later on in the week, we’re planning on going to see Reuben de Groot, Entire Cities, Bruce Penninsula, and Share on the 15h, and perhaps the CD release party with P.S. I Love You and Diamond Rings on the 16th.

Be thankful, be safe, and have a fantastic turkey (or Tofurkey) weekend.  Thanks to to Julep67 for her wonderful, shadowy photo of Fall.
