This weekend, enjoy a nostalgic hangout at Kingston Frontenac Public Library (KFPL). New adults are welcome outside at the Calvin Park branch for Snacks and Paperbacks.

The Kingston Frontenac Public Library’s New Adult Advisory Board is kicking it back to carefree days with Snacks and Paperbacks, a casual drop-in get-together, according to a release from the library.

On Saturday, May 21, 2022, gather outside the Calvin Park Branch, 88 Wright Crescent, from 2 to 3 p.m. and enjoy sentimental snacks while you chat.

“Were you a Berenstain Bears reader? Goosebumps? Come out to this event to chat with others about your favourite children’s books and enjoy some snacks that will take you back to your childhood,” said Kristen Lemay, Teen and New Adult Services Librarian.

Snacks and Paperbacks is geared toward new adults, ages 18 to 30. Registration is not required.
