Federal offender wanted on Canada Wide Warrant

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of his breach of statutory release.

Chad Bannon, 40, is described as a Caucasion male, standing 5’9” (175 cm), and weighing 180 lbs (82 kg), with brown hair and brown eyes. Bannon has numerous tattoos including a cobra head on the left side of his chest, a clown face and Celtic cross on his left upper arm, a spider, batman logo and x-men logo on his upper back, and an unfinished cow skull in the middle of his back.  He also has “Canadian” on his lower back, a water/wave crest on his left arm, a globe with double arrows on his right arm and “THINK” on his right hand.

Bannon is serving a two year and one month sentence for possession of a  prohibited/restricted firearm with ammunition, possession of a weapon obtained by commission of offence, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order.

According to Const. Cameron Mack with Kingston Police, Bannon was on a statutory release from Collins Bay with ticket to take a bus to Barrie to meet with his Parole Officer. Police received information he sold his ticket and may still be in the Kingston area. The offender is also known to frequent the Midland and Penetanguishene areas.
