Exploration Days return to Loyalist Township this summer. Explore the history of Loyalist every Thursday and Friday in July and August through fun, interactive learning experiences at the Bath Museum and Visitor Centre and the historic Babcock Mill.

According to a release from Loyalist Township, with the support of local artists, artisans, and community organizations, each activity is designed to be completely different from the next, allowing participants to experience a variety of new activities.

“Activities include Boat Building, Finger Puppets and Rag Dolls, Upcycled Windchimes and Lanterns, Train Day, a Handwoven Basket Workshop, and more!” the Township expressed.

According to the release, Exploration Days will run every week during the summer, alternating between Thursdays at the Babcock Mill and Fridays at the Bath Museum and Visitors Centre. All Exploration Day activities are free, and will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. except for Train Day which runs until 2 p.m., the Township noted.

“These exciting activities, suited for all ages, are free to attend! We invite everyone to join us this summer for Exploration Days. Come and learn something new, hone a skill, or simply enjoy the vibrant history of Loyalist,” the Township said.

“We look forward to seeing you!”
