Execution of drug search warrant results in charges for two locals


Two local individuals are facing charges after a drug search warrant was executed at a house on Division Street late last month.
On Monday, Jan. 28, 2022, members of the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit executed the drug search warrant at a house on Division Street in the City of Kingston. The Kingston Police Emergency Response Unit assisted by performing a dynamic entry to the residence, according to a media release.
The target of the investigation, Kristine Bedard, was located and arrested in her residence for the third time in the past four months, police said. A male, Taylor Joudrey, was located in the residence, as well as a female who was wanted on an arrest warrant. According to the release, a search of the residence resulted in officers locating fentanyl, cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, hydro-morphine pills and evidence of drug trafficking.
Both Bedard and Joudrey were transported to police headquarters where they were held pending a bail hearing.
Charges are as follows:
Kristine Bedard, a 40-year-old local female, was charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, and hydro-morphine pills. She was also charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
Taylor Joudrey, a 33-year-old local male, was charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, and hydro-morphine pills. He was also charged with two counts of breach of probation.
