Severe thunderstorm warning for Kingston area

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Kingston, Odessa, and Frontenac Islands.

A slow-moving thunderstorm continues to produce torrential downpours through the area. Heavy rain from 50-90mm is expected. Localized flooding is likely. Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions.
