Environment Canada advises of isolated thunderstorms for Kingston area

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Kingston and the area on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019.

The statement, which is issued for Kingston, Odessa, Frontenac Islands, Napanee, Consecon, Picton, and Sandbanks Park, advises of isolated thunderstorms producing small hail and gusty winds this afternoon.

“Isolated thunderstorms, capable of producing wind gusts to 70 or 80 km/h and pea sized hail, will move through the region this afternoon,” the national weather agency said in the statement.
