CSC reports inmate death at Bath Institution Regional Treatment Centre

An inmate from Bath Institution’s Regional Treatment Centre has died while in the custody of Correctional Service Canada (CSC).

According to the CSC, William Gordon Fell died on Tuesday, Apr. 19, 2022. He was 51 years old, and passed away from apparent natural causes. Fell had been serving an indeterminate sentence, which began on June 23, 2003, for second degree murder.

In a media release dated Thursday, Apr. 21, 2022, CSC stated that, as in all cases involving the death of an inmate, CSC will review the circumstances. CSC policy requires that the police and the coroner be notified.
