CSC reports death of an inmate at Bath Institution

An inmate at Bath Institution has died in custody, while serving a sentence which began in November of 2008.
On Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, Grant Fralic passed away from apparent natural causes following an illness, according to a release from Correctional Services Canada.
At the time of his death, Mr. Fralic had been serving an indeterminate sentence for Second Degree Murder, since November 28, 2008.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death, according to Correctional Services Canada.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, Correctional Service Canada (CSC) will review the circumstances. CSC policy requires that the police and the coroner be notified.
